Terms of use

The simple rules for using Saydawn.

These terms govern your use of the Saydawn app and saydawn.com, provided by Michaurel Group LLC ("we", "us"). By using Saydawn you agree to them. If you download Saydawn from the App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply.

1. What Saydawn is

Saydawn is an English speaking practice tool. Lessons, conversation replies, corrections and scores are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for learning and practice only. They may contain mistakes and are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Saydawn. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Saydawn only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Acceptable use

Please use Saydawn to practice English respectfully. You agree not to:

  • Try to make the AI produce sexual, hateful, harassing, violent or illegal content
  • Share other people's personal or sensitive information in conversations
  • Misuse, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app or our servers
  • Use Saydawn to build a competing service or to collect data at scale

We may limit or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you say and type. You give us permission to process it as described in our privacy policy so we can run the service, including sending it to our AI provider to generate responses.

5. Subscriptions

Saydawn can be used free. If we offer a paid plan, it will be sold through the App Store or Google Play, billed by them, and you can cancel in your store account settings. Prices and what each plan includes will be shown before you buy.

6. Our rights

The Saydawn name, logo, app and website are owned by Michaurel Group LLC. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own learning.

7. Changes and availability

We may update features, change or discontinue the service, or update these terms. If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Saydawn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Michaurel Group LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you paid nothing.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, except where your local consumer law gives you other rights.
